Frequently Asked Questions

Do Zambians need a visa for South Africa?
Great news! As of 2026, Zambian passport holders do not require a visa for tourism visits to South Africa for stays up to 90 days. Just ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months and has at least two blank pages for entry stamps.
Is a Yellow Fever certificate required?
Technically, the World Health Organization (WHO) lists Zambia as a low-risk country, but South African immigration officials frequently request a Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate (the "Yellow Card") from travelers arriving from Zambia. We strongly recommend having a valid certificate to avoid any delays at the airport.
What happens if Table Mountain is closed due to wind?
The "Mother City" is famous for the South Eastern wind (the "Cape Doctor"). If the Cableway is closed for safety, your ticket remains valid for 7 days. Our team will monitor the weather and adjust your itinerary to ensure you get to the summit on the next clear day.
How much spending money should I bring for meals?

While your flights, stay, and NYE dinner are covered, you'll need a budget for other meals. Cape Town offers everything from world-class dining to affordable cafes:

  • Mid-range meal: Approx. $20 – $35 (ZMW 400 – 700) per person.

  • Gourmet/Fine Dining: Approx. $50+ (ZMW 950+) per person.

  • Pro Tip: Cape Town has a vibrant "Uber Eats" scene and amazing deli markets (like the V&A Food Market) for quick, delicious bites.

Is Cape Town safe for tourists?
Cape Town is a major global tourist hub and is generally safe, especially in the areas we visit (Waterfront, Camps Bay, and the Winelands). As with any major city, we recommend staying aware of your surroundings, using our provided private transfers, and avoiding carrying large amounts of cash.
What is the dress code for the New Year’s Eve Dinner?
Camps Bay is the fashion capital of the Cape! The dress code for our exclusive dinner is Smart Casual to Cocktail. Think summer chic—light linen suits for men and elegant summer dresses for ladies.
